PLUS Air Dry Clay 500g (Terracotta) - SIO-2

SIO-2 PLUS is an air dry modelling clay in terracotta colour, designed for modelling, sculpting, craft projects, educational activities and decorative pieces. The clay dries naturally in the air, so it does not require kiln firing and is convenient for use at home, in studios or in classrooms.

The terracotta colour gives finished pieces a warm, natural ceramic look. It is especially suitable for figurines, ornaments, decorative details, handmade objects and projects where a natural clay appearance is desired.

How to Use

Remove the amount of clay you need and knead it by hand until it becomes soft and smooth. Shape it using your hands, clay tools, stamps or textured surfaces. If the surface starts to dry while working, lightly moisten it with a very small amount of water.

Drying and Finishing

Leave the finished piece to dry naturally in the air. Drying time depends on the thickness of the piece, its shape and the humidity of the environment; full hardening usually takes around 24-48 hours. Once dry, the surface can be lightly smoothed, painted or sealed with varnish.

Storage

Store unused clay in an airtight package or container to prevent it from drying out. Keep it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
