Mont Marte Air Hardening Modelling Clay in grey is designed for modelling, small sculptures, decorative objects and craft projects. The clay dries naturally in the air, so it does not require kiln firing and is convenient for use at home, in studios or in classrooms.

How to Use

Remove the amount of clay you need and knead it by hand until it becomes workable. Shape it using your hands, clay tools or textured surfaces. If the surface starts to dry while working, lightly moisten it with a small amount of water and continue modelling.

Drying and Finishing

Leave the finished piece to dry naturally in the air. Drying time depends on the thickness of the piece, its shape and the humidity of the environment. Thicker areas will take longer to dry, so an even wall thickness is recommended. Once fully dry, the surface can be lightly smoothed, painted or sealed with varnish.

Storage

Store unused clay in an airtight package or sealed bag to prevent it from drying out. Keep it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
