Description
Mont Marte Premium Mars Black oil paint is useful for dark accents, strong contrasts and tonal compositions. Its soft, buttery consistency suits both brushstrokes and textured palette knife work.
Colour and size
Colour: Mars Black. Volume: 75 ml. Range: Premium. Manufacturer’s code: MPO7542.
Application
Use on a primed surface prepared for oil painting. The slower drying time gives you room to mix colours, soften transitions and work wet-on-wet. Adjust consistency with an oil painting medium.
Drying time
The manufacturer gives approximately 3-4 days to become touch dry, with full curing taking 6-12 months. These times are a guide and depend on paint thickness and surrounding conditions.
