Description
Prepare canvas, cardboard and wood for oil and acrylic painting with Mont Marte Premium White Gesso. The opaque white primer creates an even, absorbent ground that helps paint flow smoothly.
Its water-based, acid-free formula can also smooth the surface of a pre-primed canvas. It dries to a semi-gloss finish. Volume: 500 ml. Product code: MPA0032.
Application
For a smooth ground, apply two thin coats with a brush, allowing each to dry. Use a palette knife if you prefer a more textured surface.
The primer is touch dry within approximately two hours; heavier applications take longer. Allow the gesso to dry before painting. Clean tools with water promptly after use.
