Pebeo Vitrail Lightening Medium – 45ml (Vitrail medium for lightening color)

Pebeo Vitrail Lightening Medium is used with Vitrail series paints to lighten color and increase transparency without losing intensity.
Tertiary does not change the shine or texture of the paint—it just reduces the sharpness of the color and creates a clean, bright, transparent effect.

Ideal when you want to:

• Lightening the color without damaging the contour
• Creating tonal transitions
• Achieve layered, soft, water-based effects
• Low-intensity stained-glass effect

According to Pebeo's instructions, the medium is used by mixing with Vitrail colors on a brush or palette, and applied to all well-greased transparent surfaces: glass, acetate, polyester, plexiglass.
Brushes are cleaned with white spirit or odorless mineral spirits, then with soapy water.

🖌️ Instructions for use

1. Mix with Vitrail colors on a palette or brush.
2. Apply to glass or other transparent surface.
3. Do not touch the surface until completely dry.
4. Clean the brushes with white spirit, then with soapy water.

💡 Advice

• For light colors, use 20–50% medium.
• For a light, watery effect, you can use a higher percentage.
• Ideal for balancing deep colors so that the color does not come out too dark in luminous glass compositions.
