Description
SIO-2 PA is a white earthenware clay for hand modelling and wheel throwing. Its fine, plastic texture makes shaping easier. Supplied as a moist clay body in a 12.5 kg pack.
A balanced calcium carbonate content contributes to the stability of the body. Its thermal expansion characteristics suit standard pottery glazes in both single- and twice-fired processes.

Firing
The manufacturer’s recommended bisque firing range is 1050–1080 °C. This clay requires firing in a ceramic kiln. Follow the selected glaze’s instructions when planning glazing and subsequent firing.
