Description
SIO-2 PM Black is a fine, plastic earthenware clay for hand modelling and wheel throwing. The manganese-containing clay develops a black colour when fired in an oxidising atmosphere.

Use
Suitable for vessel forms, sculptural pieces and decorative objects. Dry the work fully before firing in a ceramic kiln, following a schedule suited to the clay and chosen glaze. Colour and final results depend on firing conditions; test a small sample before using a new glaze or firing schedule.
